Here's how to choose the foundation to have a perfect base!
After forty, and I'm not here to say the exact figure, the most important thing in makeup is definitely having a homogeneous complexion. And the key question is: how to choose the foundation?
Small specks due to the sun or pregnancy or to some medication, some pimples, some signs of expression ... to make the skin of the face uniform, foundation is essential.
But how long does it take?
How do you choose the right gradation for your tone, especially when the undertone is olive (read tending to green)?
And is the powder really useful?
To all these questions the volcanic Amedeo Patrizi, Training & Promotion Manager of Sisley Paris Italy, answered (notice that next time we will make a video because Amedeo is such a pleasure to listen to it: simple in the explanations, but at the same time thorough and amusing!)
1st tip: the secret is little product to start!
You always have time to add but never to remove. Take the right dose of product and spread with the sponge, fingers and brush. The application with the brush is more beautiful, more professional, distributes the product well, does not create accumulations and you can blend it perfectly.
2nd tip: start applying for small portions of space.
Do not make the classic 5 dots on the face and then go lay down, because if you don't have a used hand, time you stretch one, that the others are dry. You build your base by applying the product in the various areas of the face, from the center outwards, from the bottom upwards.
Should the foundation be put on the concealer? The more product on the face you put on the more the makeup will look artifact and the marks will be highlighted.
If there is a big chromatic difference between foundation and concealer, then put it to even out, otherwise if it is clearer on the eyes it is not a problem, on the contrary, it gives brightness also because, when you make up your eyes, this chromatic difference will no longer be perceptible .
The Sisleÿa Le Teint foundation is fomulated as an anti-aging cream, in addition to performing a decorative action. Great concentration of active ingredients, takes its cue from Sisleÿa technology, giving brightness thanks to soft focus powders that play with light and attenuate imperfections and coated pigments that distribute evenly, do not create product accumulations and even a less expert hand will have the ability to create a homogeneous base.
3rd tip: The tone of the foundation?
How do you choose the color to avoid the mask effect?
The foundation is not used to change the color of the skin but to even out the complexion, so the right color will be the closest one to our skin.
Try it on the face or neck, not on the wrist!
Attention: the olive skin has a green undertone and a pink foundation should be used, because the red on the green neutralizes, the face skin is thus brighter than the neck.
For skin with a golden undertone, the foundation is yellow based.
If the undertone is colder, more lunar, the foundation is on a pinkish base.
4th tip: the powder needed
Then put the Phyto-Poudre Libre face powder in micronized powder, the ideal ally to complete the make up.
From three strokes to the closed box and what you have on the duvet is the right amount to perfectly opacify the whole face. Very little face powder is put on.
It starts from the center of the face which are the most oily areas and then on the rest, I leave the area around the eyes last to avoid giving thickness and highlighting the defects.
